Building, Tagging, and Posting your photo archive

In regards to archives, I see it as a place where audios, maps, photos, and/or texts are compiled. Usually, this storage of text is curated. Meaning it hosts a specific idea or topic. For instance, one archive that I recently looked at was curated towards the Witch Trials, specifically in the UK. For my digital humanities class, my classmates and I took various photos during the quarantine. We had creative freedom in terms of the photographs we took. In my case, I took photos of things that interested me or that just felt “right”. I took pictures of plants, scenery, food, selfies, and more. At the end of the week, I liked a lot of my photos. However, my selfie photos kind of made me cringe. But other than that I thought the pictures that I took of my neighborhood and nature were really pretty. At times it was very stressful not in a debilitating way. Stressful in the sense that I didn’t know what to photograph. However, as previously stated I just took photos of things that felt right and I think it ended up working in the long run. All in all, I am proud of the photos I took. And, I hope that you will like them as well. Please check out my photo posts here
