ABOUT ME

Hi, I’m Nina Pluviose, a college freshman studying psychology at Saint Francis College. I created this blog for a digital humanities course. The blog will contain various projects from my class, so stay tuned!

Before I was a college student, I was on the Speech team at St. Joseph High School. While on the team, I traveled to different universities like Yale and University of Pennsylvania to compete in various categories such as Dramatic Interpretation and Oral Interpretation. For those that are not familiar with Speech (Forensics), it is a combination of acting and public speaking. While I am no longer on the stage, I am still trying to be as involved as possible. Currently, I am a part of CSTEP (Collegiate Science Technology Entry Program) at Saint Francis College. The program is geared towards undergraduate students interested in health-related fields, and careers in licensed professionals. In this program, students get book stipends, the opportunity to gain various internships, and much more.

With that said, my life isn't all academics. When I am not doing schoolwork I am either listening to music, daydreaming, or watching YouTube videos. Most of all, I enjoy being by myself with a nice cup of hot tea. You can find me on Instagram as @lalin_lapli.
