Goals Assignment
This is an assignment that I had to do during my first semester at St. Francis College. When creating this project I thought it was going to be so easy but in all actuality it was stressful. I didn’t know how to do a voiceover and for some reason, my slides didn’t look the way that I wanted them to. (They still don’t, but what can you do?). I also had to sit down and think about the things that were holding me back and that can be very challenging in itself. Sometimes, as human beings, we don’t want to take accountability or think that we may be the problem. With that said, I think that I did a pretty good job of examining the issues that I have in concerns to academic work. In a way, the video does show a sense of vulnerability. For instance, when I’m having a hard time I don’t want that to be known. I feel like I would be bothering someone by doing so. That was one of the things that I brought up in my goals assignment, and I did discuss ways that I could mediate that. I hope that anyone reading this finds some sort of advice or comfort from my video because being a college student isn’t easy and I am fully aware of that.
